Terms & Conditions

Terms & conditions under which your booking is accepted are as follows:

  1. Cancellation by Hirer:
    1.1.Cancellation less 2 weeks prior to the event – 50% of the accommodation charge
    1.2.Cancellation less1 week prior to the event – 100% of the accommodation charge plus catering costs (if applicable).
  2. Cancellation by St Peter’s Community Centre:
    If, for whatever reason, it is necessary for the management to cancel a booking, the limit of liability of the management will be to return any payment received by the date of cancellation.
  3. The venue must be used for the purpose stated on the booking form, telephone or email amendments immediately.
  4. The Hirer agrees to pay full hire charges and all costs incurred during the hire period within 30 days of our invoice.
  5. The Hirer must vacate on time and leave the venue in a clean and tidy condition, the duration of the booking includes setting up and clearing away times.
  6. The ‘Responsible Person’, named on the booking form, is liable for food the Hirer brings onto the site, also ensure Food Hygiene regulations are adhered to.
  7. Any portable electrical appliances that you bring onto our premises are your responsibility and must comply with Electricity At Work Regulations 1989
  8. No alcohol is allowed on the premises without written permission from the management.
  9. If, for any reason, evacuation from the building takes place then an authorised person from each organisation/meeting or gathering shall report to the Health & Safety Marshall at the designated Fire Assembly Point, situated by the main entrance gate, to confirm that all their attendees/staff have been evacuated.
  10. Take all proper precautions for the prevention of accidents ensuring that Fire Exits, stairs and gangways are kept clear of obstruction at all times. Display and notice boards must be secure and placed in such a way as not to cause obstruction.
  11. For your personal safety please observe the health and safety signs throughout the building.
  12. No indecent, immoral or illegal activities are permitted on the site.
  13. The management accepts no liability for any accident to any member of the public or anyone connected to the letting, or the loss of or damage to any goods brought onto the site.
