Terms & Conditions - Private Function
- Cancellation by Hirer: Cancellation less 1 week prior to the event - 100% of the accommodation charge plus catering costs (if applicable).
- Cancellation by St Peter’s Community Centre: If, for whatever reason, it is necessary for the management to cancel a booking, the limit of liability of the management will be to return any payment received.
- The venue must be used for the purpose stated on the booking form; please telephone or email amendments immediately.
- The Hirer must vacate on time and leave the venue in a clean and tidy condition, the duration of the booking includes setting up and clearing away times.
- When the Hirer brings food on to the premises they are responsible for maintaining Food Hygiene regulations.
- Any portable electrical appliances that you bring onto our premises are your responsibility and must comply with Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
- NO ALCOHOL is allowed on the premises without premises without written permission from the management.
- If, for any reason, evacuation from the building takes place then the ‘Responsible Person’ should report to the Health & Safety Marshall (Caretaker) at the designated Fire Assembly Point, situated by the main entrance gate, to confirm that all their attendees/staff have been evacuated.
- Take all proper precautions for the prevention of accidents ensuring that Fire Exits, stairs and gangways are kept clear of obstructions at all times. Display & Notice boards must be secure and placed in such a way as not to cause obstruction.
- For your personal safety please observe the Health & Safety signs thorough the building.
- No indecent, immoral or illegal activities are permitted on the site.
- The ‘Responsible Person’, named on the booking form, must ensure children are supervised at all times.
- Children are NOT allowed in the kitchen areas.
- Food is NOT permitted in St Peter’s Hall.
- Decorations i.e. posters, banners etc are NOT to be attached to the walls.
- Full payment and £200 (Two Hundred) cash deposit must be paid 10 days before the event. Office hours 09:00 - 17:00hrs Monday to Friday.
- The management accepts no liability for any accident to any member of the public or anyone connected to the letting, or the loss of or damage to any goods brought onto the site.
- Any violation of this agreement will strongly jeopardize the return of any deposited money and if necessary the Caretaker has the authority to close the event.
